The Society is looking for a qualified and experienced pensions’ practitioner who understands the nature and operation of defined benefit schemes and pension allowances A knowledge of defined contribution schemes, state pensions, taxation, and experience as an IFA would be additional advantages. Working from home (other than quarterly Trustee and Committee meetings) in this newly created, part-time or full-time, flexible working role, your core function will be to support the Trustee Board and Chief Pensions Officer in the management and governance of the Trust, including management of the third-party service providers and advisors, to achieve the delivery of a high quality, professional and timely pension service. This is a varied role consisting of a wide range of functions that can be changeable depending on the annual cycle of the Trust.
